If you’re here, you’re probably considering hiring a Dublin-based content marketing agency to support your marketing activities. We understand that it’s a big decision. The following FAQs should answer a lot of your questions. If you’re ready to have a conversation about your marketing requirements, you can book an introductory call with our founder, Scarlet.
We are a boutique agency specialising in ethical and sustainable marketing strategies. Our tiny size is our strength – you get highly experienced in-house marketers working on your project for its entire lifecycle. Unlike a lot of agencies, our business model doesn’t rely on unpaid interns or outsourcing to overseas service providers. Our client retention rate is very high thanks to our flexible, tailored services and focus on high quality work.
Ethical marketing is sustainable, morally sound marketing in terms of input and output. Starting with output, ethical marketing means practices that respect both the consumer and society. This involves transparency, honesty, and integrity in all campaigns – avoiding false adverting, greenwashing, manipulation, etc. In terms of the inputs, we consider data collection and use, technology choices, partnerships, channels, tactics, and more. It’s a huge area! Ethical marketing isn’t just for charities or social enterprises; every single business can adopt ethical and sustainable principles in their marketing strategies.
Yes, we offer a comprehensive range of content marketing services and can work on both digital and traditional marketing strategies. From blogging and social media marketing to brochures and direct mail campaigns, we ensure your brand message is consistent and impactful across all channels.
It depends. Most new clients come to us because they don’t have a strategy. In those cases, we start with a consultation to understand your business goals, target audience, and market challenges/opportunities. Combined with our own research, analysis of past results, and interviews with stakeholders, this allows us to develop a marketing strategy and roadmap for implementation.
As stated above, we often start by developing a strategy. After that, there are two main ways we support the marketing activities of our clients:
1) We roll up our sleeves and start creating and publishing the content and activities agreed in the strategy.
2) When the client has the internal resources to implement the strategy themselves, we provide additional consultancy through regular check-ins to monitor progress and make recommendations.
We do also work with clients who already have a strategy, or have marketing experts on the team, and need to draw on our specific expertise for one area of their strategy (SEO, localisation, writing, etc.).
We don’t have a fixed way of working and we are happy to adapt to your circumstances.
Mentoring is a great way to access different expertise, insights, and perspectives. Our founder, Scarlet Bierman, is an experienced business and marketing mentor. A member of the Local Enterprise Office mentor panel since 2019, she has mentored scores of business owners and marketing professionals over the years. You can work with her for just a few hours or have a regular scheduled support over the longer term.
During our in-depth discovery phase, we immerse ourselves in your brand’s mission, values, and objectives. If you don’t have a Brand Bible, we can create one for you. This outlines your brand voice, brand style, messaging, positioning, language, and other copy guidelines. We use this to write our first drafts, then with collaborative review and feedback cycles we perfect the content so that it sounds like you.
Once we’ve worked with you on a few different pieces of content, you’ll find we are able to land your brand voice without your input.
We have worked on a wide range of content projects, both online and offline. We produce concepts and content for websites, blogs, videos, brochures, books, posters, social media, advertorials, infographics, product packaging, landing pages, newsletters, advertising, and myriad other marketing and communications supports.
We work in B2B, B2C, and G2C. We have experience of sectors such as professional services, recruitment, jewellery, health & wellness, training & education, tech & SaaS, engineering, food & beverages, travel, and more. However, we do not work with companies operating in spaces such as fossil fuels, alcohol, tobacco and gambling, or high-carbon footprint activities.
Some agencies like to specialise in a particular vertical. We prefer to use our experiences in different sectors to bring an external perspective and fresh thinking to our strategies.
Yes, we have clients in Ireland and abroad. We’ve worked with companies and organisations in the UK, Europe, and even Asia. A selection of our projects can be found in our Portfolio section.
Yes, you can read a selection of the testimonials clients have given us.
Our pricing is project-based and tailored to the specific needs, scope, and budget of each client’s project. We don’t have fixed-cost packages because we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach. The fee we charge is based on the amount of work involved and the value that the project can bring to the company.
As part of our social and environmental impact policy, around 9% of our annual turnover goes towards charitable donations, ‘good cause’ discounts, pro bono work, and tree planting.
